Community Dance Program
Jacob's
Pillow provides a wide range of enriching and educational dance
participation year-round for some 3,500 Berkshire residents. Children,
students, educators, people with special needs, continuing education
adult learners, and dancers from the newcomer to advanced partake
in these enjoyable experiences at the Pillow, in schools, and
at other settings in the community. Programs range from low cost
open dance classes during the summer Festival to dance residencies
for area public schools where dance becomes an
innovative way to learn academic material. Pillow artists and
staff develop programs that meaningfully
